WTB - Brass spider, preferably cast.

Post by Burger in Spokane » Sat May 15, 2021 1:12 am

I have a nice walnut steering wheel with a broken spider. I would love
to replace it with a nicely patinaed brass one, preferably cast brass.
Anyone have an old one hanging on a nail in the shed that they might be
pursuaded to part with ? Have green rectangles and a small pile of trade
stock. Polished and non-cast would be considered, but the vehicle is not
really "polished" and a patinaed example would look more appropriate.

Thanks !

What size is the broken wheel, Burger ? Most "accessory" (walnut) wheels tend to be 17" so finding a cast brass spyder might be a tall order - most of the early brass ones were 14" - 15".
