Looking for a brake pedal wrap

Post by Unprr » Wed Jul 06, 2022 11:47 am

I’m adding AC Brakes to my truck and found a photo of this pedal wrap, to connect the equalizer.
If anyone has an extra one, I would be more than happy to purchase it from you.

Thanks
George Schmidt

Hi George,
I was unable to find one of them so I made one. After that I started welding that tab & the extension on the bottom so that every brake peddle I have will work on any T I have. Do you have a set of original A-C's or a set of Larry's. Do you have a original cable equalizer? If not have you considered the Rocky Mountain equalizer or the one that the other venders offer and the peddle they offer. The up side is the hand brake applies the outside brakes as well as the park brake. In Arizona the emergency (park) brake has to be operated by a separate means from the brake peddle.
Craig.

Craig, I purchased the AC brakes from Larry , along with equalizer from his buddy. I purchased the pedal with the eyelet on it but was trying to get buy, not having to switch it out.
I’m currently moving a few obstructions under the truck, so the equalizer can fit the frame.

John Bevardos, I don't think they are available from the vendors. I got this one many years ago and don't remember where I got it.

Craig, I have a wrap that is excess to my needs and I'm willing to sell it. $25.00 plus shipping.
If you send me your email address or phone #, I'll send you pictures.
Thanks,

Keith,

If Craig does not want it, I also have been looking for one.

Or I might just have to add a second brake lever on the outside of the frame.

Keith & George,
I weld the tab on my pedals. I was curious as to what it took to make a wrap. The first time I needed one I elected to build it some what different than the one shown, after that that I changed my M.O. just got interested it what it took to make one. I had a piece of steel that needed put away so what the hell. I was in the middle of irrigating for a neighbor so I could not go to sleep for fear of flooding things out. $25 is no where near what it takes to make one but proves I will not be manufacturing them. This is what I came up with.
