timing cover centering gage
front timing cover centering gage … this is the tool used to center the timer recess to assure uniform timing from cylinder to cylinder … this is often overlooked when re-assembling an engine and a poorly centered timer will result in poor performance … this tool centers the actual timer recess to the camshaft ...NOT the much smaller design that centers the seal recess … price is $24.00 plus $6.00 postage in lower 48 states ...actual postage outside this area or international ...Gene French 49519 cr.23 Nunn,Co. 80648 phone 970-581-2808

Re: timing cover centering gage
I used this and it worked great. Just put it on with the blots loose, center the cover, tighten the cover, remove the tool.

Re: timing cover centering gage
I used one of Gene"s timer centering jigs this last week (for the third or fourth time)when I put a new Chafin's Driver cam in my roadster. A well made tool that does what it is supposed to do.
