WTB Original 1923-27 Dash Bracket Right Side

Post by SurveyKing » Fri Feb 07, 2020 9:49 pm

Dash Bracket part 3641-D.jpg
I would like to find an original Right Side (Passenger) dash bracket that does not have a crack or has been welded. This is part number 3641-D.

Also like to find a decent front license plate bracket part number 3664 for 1921 to 1927.

Thanks

The 26-7 firewall brackets are a different design.

The 26 27 style is notched at the area beside the tape measure in your photo.

Picture stolen from a MTFCA thread - mine are type 3 - also wood ones round / steel square mounting holes to firewall

Hi Frank,
The 7th Edition of the Judging Guidelines shows 23-27 being the same, no notch and the firewall holes are square from 23-27 same as I have posted.

My note wasn't very clear - Correct me if I am wrong - I was attempting to say that the holes for mounting the brackets to Wood Firewalls are round and the holes for mounting to steel firewalls are square. the picture didn't mention that difference

Hi Larry, I suppose that would not be the first time. If you don't mind me asking what is the source of square face for 1926-27?
Thanks
