Mercury/ ford speedster steering column Brkt for sale

Post by Dropacent » Wed Mar 04, 2020 3:17 pm

This is a recast steering column support bracket for the mercury bodied speedster. I built it up for use as a foundry pattern, so it has a lot of bondo on it. They were originally made for the T style diamond shape column. It’ll probably need some work, but a good start if you need it. $40 postage paid to you door. Tmorsher@icloud.com to reach me. Thanks

John, I have a couple small bits here that are in a pending deal. If it doesn’t go forward, I can help you, but not much. The steering column brace went quickly. We put a lot of stuff out there in the last 10 years, but all went to needy cars. The one fellow that used to make the wonderful castings doesn’t reply to emails any longer. I had trouble getting patterns back, so that dog no longer hunts. I have wood patterns for the brake rod casting guide and a Buffalo winged knockoff I’d give you for the postage.
Jarvis is the undisputed king of the Mercury, and may have some bits and pieces available, and I’m always glad to take detailed pics and measurements, but my car isn’t coming apart any more. Tmorsher@icloud.com to reach me, and good luck!
