WTB Early Fender Eye Bolts

Post by Tbird » Tue Mar 10, 2020 11:53 am

Looking for the early style round fender eye bolts. I'm looking for the one that is on the right. Langs use to carry them but no longer do, I'm guessing that these were being reproduced at one time. Perhaps someone knows who was reproducing these or perhaps you have some. Give me a call or email me
Thanks Mike Bird

What year used the round one? Never seen those. I always thought the ones on the left were the early ones. Thanks for posting.

Larry here is the post that discusses the earlier bolts. Langs was carrying them in their 2019 catalog but no longer available. Item number 4806E. It was listed as bolt for 09-13 having a rounder style opening.

This fender bolt is off my original 1910 touring. I’m sure it’s hasn’t been off the car since 1910.

My late 1911 has the same eye bolts as Kim Dobbins 1910. The cross section is round like Mikes drawing unlike the later eye bolts cross section. Maybe different manufactures.
