Texas T Distributor and Alternator sale/trade
I have a Texas T Distributor that is about a year old – probably has 100 +/- miles. It has all the parts, spark wires, advancing linkage, extra set points, condenser, cap and rotor, and two coils (complete kit worth $380+ new). I also have Texas T alternator (the newest AC Delco 12 volt one – new $296) of the same age and use. These things are barely used! I replaced ones that failed and got the courage to revert back to Mag, coils, 6 volt and a generator. So these are no longer needed. I would be prefer trading for a couple of good ECCT tuned coils. Otherwise $150 ea. plus shipping. PM if interested.

Re: Texas T Distributor and Alternator sale/trade
I am interested in 6vdc distro setup. I currently have one on my 1919 T, but cannot find a distro cap that fits and is working. Will this one work if I replace it, and how easy is it to get the distro caps, parts? Many thanks. I would pay cash as I have nothing to trade. R/Ji m

Can you provide a photo of what is on your T, Jim ? Someone here can most likely identify it. Went by Port Ludlow yesterday on our way home !

Re: Texas T Distributor and Alternator sale/trade
Attached are some pictures of the distributor and cap. as you can see the center tab on the cap is missing, been trying to find one close to match. So I figured it would be easier to find a new cap, but no-go. Any recommendations regarding how to make this work, or as to where to find a new cap? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance all....

Sent you an email - that's an original, era Bosch front plate set-up.
