Re: FS brand new e timer
Bobt, wish you contacted me first if you encountered difficulty with E-Timer installation or operation. Sluggish/sub-par performance is always an indication of insufficient timer advance that is typically easily remedied.
The E-Timer provides the best Model T engine ignition performance possible with 99% customer satisfaction earned over the past 10 years; several with over 50,000 miles on them. If engine performance is not exceptionally smooth with more power, something is wrong. Please let me know how I can earn your satisfaction too.
Regards,
Mike Kossor

Re: FS brand new e timer
I will echo what Ricky said. The only reason I favor the I over the E is that I wanted to use my magneto.

Re: FS brand new e timer
Bob-
The Magneto died on my 1919. I put on an E-timer and it ran terribly!
It turned out I was not able to advance the spark far enough.
I remedied the spark advance and it runs fine now.
Patience, Grasshopper.
