These came with a bunch of parts I bought a while back. I did some research and according to the encyclopedia, Ford started using cast iron timers in October 1915 and shows they became obsolete in January 1919.
All three are just the bare cases and only two have the Ford script. Could the one without the script be one of those infamous “spurious parts” that Henry warned of? Don’t know!
Anyway, a neat piece of Ford history that only lasted a few years and not that common. You might be able to swap the “guts” of a good timer over and make one usable or they would make a great addition to your timer collection display.
Buy all three for $40 shipped FREE in the U.S.
