Looking to trade a NOS Reeder aluminum H.C. head for H.C. high head
I have a NOS Reeder H.C. low head with new bolts and washers, the early version with the Ford script and "Made in USA" and would like to trade for a high H.C. head (Prus or Z type). The Reeder head was lightly installed on a rebuilt motor (not torqued down) and the buyer wanted a "stock" motor. I have a '26 Roadster that could use the H.C. High Head.

I have a Himico high compression high head. I can send pictures. I can either test them or email.

I am not sure why if you have the NOS Reeder head, you don't just use it?
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Yes Mark, I'm thinking the same thing now. I assumed that the front water outlet would be lower and cause issues with the '26-27 fan belt adjustment but both outlets are the same distance from the gasket surface. The higher H.C. head would provide more coolant space, but I'll try it anyway.

Some of the after market heads already had more water capacity anyway, along with the fact you have a larger radiator being as it's a 27.
