Ford and other Boyce original MotoMeters

Post by ModelT46 » Tue Jun 02, 2020 4:01 pm

An original Ford Motometer as used on Model A Fords and often on Model Ts. Do not know if thermometer works. $58 boxed and postpaid. I will include a new gold Ford face. Seagrave fire truck Boyce Meter. Face plate has a bit of daamge at lower left, but is not on view. Bottom of the termometer tube is open. At one time someone was going to pull out the thermometer. The thermometer is no good. $58 boxed and postpaid.

A worthy accessory in warmer climes.
I heard about some drivers installing an auxlliary cooling system by running a pipe with drilled holes along the top of the radiator, connected to a water tank. When the car stated to get a bit hot, the water dripped over the radiator fins, providing extra cooling due to evaporative cooling.
