There's a 1918 TT rear end and a TT Ruckstell. Both are complete and have external brakes. You can have them, but you've got to pick them up quickly, preferably by the weekend. You'll need to be able to load them. I don't know the date they'll be scrapped, but I know it will be by the middle of next week at the latest. These are in Southern CA, near Ventura (about an hour north/west of Los Angeles.
Email or my cell phone is best.

Steel is not but a penny a pound.I wish this was not over on the west coast,I would get them and store them here just to prevent their loss. once this stuff is gone, that penny a pound is gone to.
If you can't help em, don't hinder em'

I agree, that's why the owner is willing to give them to someone who wants them. I've found homes for a model A chassis and truck of model A stuff, 2 Buick chassis plus a trailer of other Buick stuff, and I've brought a bit home. We've made progress but there's still a Dodge chassis and a number of front and rear ends, and engines.
Scott; I'll call you this morning.

The bronze gears are worth $30 each at the scrap yard. You can practically break even on your time even if you open them up and nothing is usable... (When you get them home of course)

The person who owns the property doesn't want people dismantling assemblies in the yard. Someone would need to take them as is.
