WTB Brass Steering Column Support
I saw a brass Steering column support last year at Hershey... thought about buying it but wasn’t sure what the length needed to be ... does anyone have one to sell ? Is anyone making these or were they an original option? Thanks George

Re: WTB Brass Steering Column Support
I would like one to install in my 1919 open cab express so no dash just direct to the firewall... I believe it would be between 8-9 inches but I need to double check to verify. I do have a horn button so I need the variation that permits the horn wire .

I have this APCO pressed steel steering column support that will work on your wood firewall That I am asking $50 for. Let me know and I'll hold it.

Re: WTB Brass Steering Column Support
You 'll need to contact the supplier on the length of the brass one. This link shows repop's and the brass is longer - they sell the bottom half for the horn wire but not in brass http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/11 ... 1265490963
You could move it a bit lower than the one in the photo.

The above brass column brace is from Rootlieb, however they are no longer polished. $75.

Re: WTB Brass Steering Column Support
Thanks for the help everyone... I will check out Rootlieb... I think my main issue is going to be finding one in brass that allows for the horn wire tube however the longer length is what I prefer to make this work for my application... I could do an iron one but would like to find one longer than what I have seen available.
