Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
David: There's one in Iowa on e-bay, a little rusty and maybe pricey, but it looks complete, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Model-T-Door-1 ... Sw2TJe33tY
IIRC, Bob Peterson in Northern MN, maybe Shelevn (sp?) MN sold many 26-27 coupe parts, haven't noticed him on e-bay recently but someone may know him here. Good luck in your search, jb

Bob: I figured you would have already looked and your comment on rust seemed appropriate. Bob Peterson (if I have the name correct) used to have a great selection of 26-27 body parts, but that was then an then is now or however that saying goes. Good luck on your project, jb

Thanks, James
There was a guy on ebay, GUNMAN63, who I liked to buy T Coupe parts from. His stuff was always in almost perfect condition. I shjould have bought his door when I had the chance.

Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
I have a '29 Closed Cab Pickup and had always heard the doors were the same as '26 - '27 coupe and believe they will interchange, but someone brought to my attention recently that the number of screws holding in the hinges is different between the two. Apparently one uses three screws and the other uses four, though he did say that if you have the hinge already in the door that it will still pin to the half of the hinge already in the pillar. It would be interesting to learn more about this.

Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
My 26 coupe doors have two screws in top and 4 in middle and lower hinges both in door and pillar. Apologies to Dave for hijacking his WTB advert, best, jb

Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
HAHAHAHA...No problem James.
Yes, the 27 Coupe, Sedan and 28-29 PU use the same doors. In fact the Coupe and Sedan share several of the same parts.

Waddington's rod and restoration shop in Castlemaine, Victoria presses excellent quality reproductions of these doors.

Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
Allan, funny that you mention Waddington's.
I went ahead and purchased a door from Brookville Roadsters.
While talking with the guy where I picked up the door, he told me that their doors are made by Waddington's of Victoria.

I suspected they had a hookup with Brookville Roadsters, but was unsure. I know they send them to the USA.

Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
Why don't Waddington's and / or Brookville advertise their Model T doors as there are lots of people looking for specifically '26 - '27 Coupe and Tudor doors?

I know that Mac's and Lang's used to carry them and for some reason stopped.
Brookville used to have them in their catalogue but now don't.

Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
This caught my interest so I went looking and found a note on their site that said "Closed permanently" Hopefully the dies will become available. I see a lot of business there. Tom Rootlieb, could you do this?

Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
I may have misread. I looked up Waddingtons Street rod and Restoration Center on Blakely Rd. Castlemaine Vic. Right below the street view photo the red bar says permanently closed. I apologize if I inadvertently created alarm.

Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
On one Victorian model T club tour we visited both rod shops in Castlemaine. Rod Hadfield's Castlemaine Rod Shop ws one. Waddington's was another. At the time, they were quite separate entities on very different sites.

Do a quick "duckduckgo"
They are all over facegram & instabook
Apparently Waddingtons took over the"Castlemaine Rod Shop" in 2012
Waddingtons are still listed as a Brookville agent.
Doors are still listed

Re: WTB 1927 Model T Coupe Passenger Side Door
Rod Hadfield is regarded by many as the father of rodding in Australia. Castlemaine is considered the home of rodding in Australia. Rod and his wife did an extensive tour of the USA, in his retro A model pickup with Lincoln V12 sidsevalve power. When we visited his shop, the show stealer was a rod he had built as a tribute to his dad. From my failing memory it was based on a light truck chassis, with a rear axle from a 3 ton Bedford truck. It needed to be heavily built to handle the power from a Rolls Royce V12 Merlin motor, like the ones used to power P51 Mustangs.
