Houston to South Dakota and Back 07/10 to 07/15

Post by ivaldes1 » Sun Jul 05, 2020 12:25 pm

Hi, My family will be traveling from Houston Texas to South Dakota and back 07/10 to 07/15 on a peculiar vacation due to the pandemic. I will be looking to acquire parts for the Hay Wagon to Speedster project https://mtfca.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13134 but may also within reason be able to pick up and drop off parts as well as long as it isn't too far off of our route. Let me know.

?looks like some responses were dropped. Adding my again.
You might plan on a side trip to Model T Haven in Iola, KS about 3 hours off you path but lots of parts.

There is an eBay seller 5Barn Auto in Spring TX too
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Ignacio, I don't know what you need or what, if any, year you're looking for but if you'll be close to Pierre you're welcome to look at my stash. We'll be out of town 9th till evening of 12th. I work days Mon-Wed each week but evenings are free. Noel

Ignacio:
a few pictures of the speedster body ( TIN ONLY) that I will be offering for sale … I used this for several years in various configurations including the turtle deck and a pickup bed … basic body is the red tub … this is made to mount on the T frame mounts … I had the tub on 2 1/2" blocks to better fit the turtle deck … that fit will need more work in streching the back of the tub to fit … with the wood rails removed from the bottom of the turtle deck the fit is much better … price for body only is $350 … gene French 970-581-2808

Hi Gene, the trip is on but might be my soccer-Mom van and not an RV due to shortage of RV's in Houston. Thanks for the pictures. The girlfriend approved goal is more like this: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JH7D34LNwMc/S ... edster.jpg
