Looking for a pair of Jno. Brown Model 19 all brass headlights

Post by Darren J Wallace » Mon Jul 20, 2020 11:08 am

Looking for a replacement set of Jno. Brown model 19 all brass headlights. Condition will determine what I’m willing to pay. I have good glass reflectors and complete burner assemblies if you don’t. Looking to swap out a better set than what I currently have as they’re in pretty rough shape and I’m not looking to restore them for now. Pictures would be a big help. Will consider reproductions. Thanks in advance!

Hello Darrin:
Someone else here recently asked about the Brown #19 repros that Wayne Erickson of Gilbert Metal Products is making. Wayne's #19's are spot-on reproductions where original dies are used to build the signature smoke bonnets. A number of restored originals display his repro doors, door jambs, and lamp backs. These are superior crafted parts at an excellent price IMO.
Regards,
Scott
