Anyone for a trade?

Post by Mark Osterman » Fri Aug 14, 2020 5:42 pm

I have a pretty nice early style Schrader dust cap (left) and need a later style Schrader dust cap (right). Want to trade the early one for a non dented later one.

Mark
I’ve had this cover and nut for years in a box of parts and thought it looked like the later style cover but mine looks shorter so I wonder if it’s for a Ford. It’s marked Schrader and 2 1/8” long and the threads are good on the cover and nut.

Usually, Schrader and Dill made two lengths of dust caps. I believe you would probably need the shorter one.
