If I recall correctly, Gene’s early line bores were cast. Some of the parts there look like his. I’m sure he’ll post on this thread eventually. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of his earlier line-bores.

I wish they showed more photos of what is there and the back side (yes I too have been watching it). I find it hard to imagine that there is no name cast in it some place. I get the impression they didn't even take it out of the case!
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Steven:
YES, that is one of my DUCTILE 80 cast iron line bore units ... is probably a 20+ year old unit ... uses a micrometer head for the tool offset gage ... also i don't think that the fine adjust screw was in the boring bar for easy setting of boring bit ... still a very good unit ... this will weigh approx. 95 lb. for shipping ... operation is same as my current design with the exception of the fine adjust screws for setting the boring bit and i currently supply a dial indicator tool set gage ... always an optimist ...Gene French

Steve T.
unlike KRW linebore , my boring bits have always been adjustable ... this eliminates the need for a reamer for every size crankshaft and also allows boring different diameters within the same motor block if needed ...always an optimist ...Gene French

Gentlemen:
looks as though someone will get a great deal ... shipping will be a bit of a shocker , i think that shipping will run more than the estimate ... anyway , someone will get a great unit for a small price...also , this frame appears to be drilled for both models T and A/B ...always an optimist...Gene French
