WTB NRS rear end half

Post by KimDobbins » Wed Sep 16, 2020 10:52 pm

All I really need is the 4 hole bracket that is riveted to the rear axle housing. If serves as the mounting bracket for the rear spring. So if you have a junk rear end half with a good bracket, I'd like to buy it. Kdmks AT att.net.

Hi Kim. You might need to specify which side. On the earlier style bracket, the socket for the rear radius rod is at 90 degrees to the axle tube. The left and right brackets were the same. On the later style brackets, the sockets were angled, so there are mirror image left and right brackets.

I know some of them got casted a couple years ago when a friend was working on some F's and early Caddy axles, he was on the early Ford registry, should say pictures of his work was on there. I am not going to mention his name on here since he has plenty to do and he might get mad at me and we do not want that!!

Andrew, either style will work for me, I just need part of the bracket.
