WTB: Brass Stewart Speedometer Bracket

Wanted, brass Stewart speedometer dash bracket

I have a 12 and it is painted steal, so what year was it brass. Just wondering thanks.

The brass brackets were used in 1908-1911. Some 1912 Fords had them, but the steel bracket was used from 1912-1915. I hope this helps, Russ Furstnow

Hello Joe You have to compare your car to other Canadian cars as the US cars are different ,a lot of the parts on a US car are brass but not on Canadian cars . My throttle and spark rods are not brass plated and never were ,there is know sign of any brass plating , crop nuts are not brass ,the piece that holds the carb rod is not brass. My car will never be judged again because it is always compared to the US car , at one meet in the states on the judging form it states to many doors. This is why I collect as many pics of real Canadian cars and document the original cars I hope your car is coming along well. cheers Colin
