Tire or "Tyre" considerations.....

Post by NU2theT » Sat Oct 24, 2020 8:08 am

Would like any input on the European Classic tires available, there is a local distributor in my area and might check those out as "free shipping" is offered of course for "limited time". Any one running these and how your T handles please reply, thanks.

Scott, I can only see the 21" tyres which suit the 26-7 Ts on their website. I understand USA made tyres are available in those sizes, so you dodge the dodgy quality offerings on currently available 30" BE tyres.

"Hello, I am a dealer for these tires in Maine and have sold about a dozen this summer. I have reports they drive well from a fellow who use the 21" tires on his '26 Model T. These are similar in design to the diamond tread Goodyears and softer riding than the Firestones.
You can order these tires through me if you wish. I am listed as a dealer in both of those national ads.
They can be shipped from their warehouse in TN.
Thanks, David White Kennebunk, ME 207-590-0180 "
and
"For a limited time European Classic Tires is offering free shipping out of there TN warehouse.
19" or 21" black walls are $105. ea. shipped to your door.
19" or 21" white walls are $182. ea. shipped to your door."

I have GoodYears, 21" black wall ballon, from Kelsey Tire (available from Summit too & shipped free). While the tread design of the European Tyres look like the GoodYear 475/19 All-Weather the shape of the diamond is different as is the side wall https://www.kelseytire.com/antique/military-series/

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
