I have a dist. cap that I'm not sure what it will work on. I can send you pictures of the cap and you can decide if it is something that you can use.

Re: WTB: Distributor cap for Bosch T-448
You may just need a carbon plunger like LL-47. Not sure if this parts lists applies but might help with a solution. Found another person looking for a Bosch #66880 "Want to buy for a 1911 Knox 4 cyl model R, Bosch #66880 distributor cap **Gilfillin #LL-55; Guaranteed #BI-5; KEM #1600." Looks like some cross reference ones are indicated. A LL- 55 cap is used on a American Bosch 600 distributor

Re: WTB: Distributor cap for Bosch T-448
A correction to the cross reference its GILFILLAN not GILFILLIN their catalogue page is the same as the SUREHIT. I'm looking for parts too since I have an American Bosch 600 distributor and would like some spare parts. If someone has some old parts books it may be possible to get some replacement from different manufacturers

There's a fellow in the midwest (I believe) that has NOS ignition parts - he's answered a request for Bosch parts on this Forum a while back.

Re: WTB: Distributor cap for Bosch T-448
I am the "fellow in the midwest" and I do have a large inventory of NOS ignition parts for most makes and models from 1910 to 1960. I have Bosch rotors and point sets but do not have caps for sale at this time. I have contact with two other people with similar inventories here in the US and neither one of them have the 4 cylinder Bosch cap in stock at this time either. I do have one NOS Bosch cap that I am holding back for a pattern.
I have been thinking about reproducing them but would probably need about 40 - 50 people step up and agree to purchase them. Quantity will be a large factor in this project as the more we have made, the less cost per unit. You may email me with your thoughts and questions tsvanmeet@gmail.com

Re: WTB: Distributor cap for Bosch T-448
Maybe posting a little more information on what distributor you need the cap(s) for would help, besides just a part number. There are about 3 styles of Bosch clip on all which should used the same cap, rotor and points, the front plate that is different and then the other non Ford applications. Not everyone will know the part number for the cap but may know that the cap they have fits X.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Re: WTB: Distributor cap for Bosch T-448
You might also do a title change to something like "Wanted T-448 distributor cap for Bosch front plate distributor". You can click on the pencil and edit the title. It will only change the first/main title that people see but should help too.
