US Air Gauge ….Ready for stocking stuffers?

Post by Dropacent » Sun Nov 29, 2020 1:36 pm

Here is the backstory. I bought a big stash of U.S.Airgauge tire gauges. About 120 of them. The fellows business was rebuilding these as show quality model A tire gauges. I’m an optimist, like Gene French, but I’ll never live long enough to sell 120 model A Ford tire gauges. We now have about 50 remaining.
U.S. Gauge tire gauges are amazing devices. I count about 25 separate parts in these little precision pocket beauties. They were originally offered with stock faces, and also custom faces for Model A Ford oval script, several Buick versions, Cadillac, Peerless, Packard, and I’m sure others.
Shown are the 5 different face designs we are offering. Winged scarab in two versions, balloon tire or clincher scale. Then , two versions of the later FORD script, in balloon or clincher scale. Finally, the ford script oval. The next choice is a polished brass case or high quality nickel plate case . Price is $90for the polished brass case with face choice , $100for the nickel case with face choice. $5 towards postage. Right now I’ll only take enough orders that I can get done for Christmas delivery. Tmorsher@icloud.com to reach out to us. Thanks, KEEP BUSY AND SAFE !

Thanks Mark, I’m only wanting to work and hour or two a day. I want to play for the other 22. This site keeps me as busy as I want. Sold 3 already.

Thanks for the orders so far. 12 spoken for and I really appreciate that. In answering an inquiry, these original units are cleaned, lubricated and pressure regulated.

LAST CALL Ready for stocking stuffers?

Post by Dropacent » Mon Dec 07, 2020 7:40 pm

LAST CALL ! ! First, Ok, I was wrong. 37 separate parts ( I think) in these amazing little things. A bygone era in USA manufacturing. Every duffer had one in his pocket 100 years ago. This is last call for Christmas delivery. The only way to get one is to email me at tmorsher@icloud.com I don’t have time to chase people, or to check on postal tracking numbers. Write to me tmorsher@icloud.com with choice of case finish and choice of the 5 different faces we have. I’ll tell you choices on payment and no money needed until ready to send. Mail delivery is still very poor , so if I can’t send by about the 15th, we will not do so. We are only charging $5 for postage and it’s costing us almost $9. What the hell kind of way is that to run a business? Order one before I wise up. Merry Christmas, bah humbug !
