Hello Tim,
I would like to discuss these with you. I have an incomplete set, need some parts, and have extra parts but may need to buy yours and sell the extras.
Would you please connect with me?

Re: Original set of 1926-7 wind wings for sale
I too am in need of only three or four parts. Need 3 bottom pieces that are bolted to the stanchion. They have numbers inside each piece They have numbers 45-46 and 47-48 I think. I also have 2 top pieces with 39-40 in them need the other side---41-42 I think. Would trade one of my 38-39 for the other side numbers. If you have any extras I would be interested. At 80, I have been searching for many years to complete my set. Thank you for your time. greg adams in Maryland

Re: Original set of 1926-7 wind wings for sale
Now that I have reconnected with what I have, it makes sense that I buy what I need or trade pieces if they are out there. Mine is mostly complete. Your set is beautiful. Given a bounty, I would buy yours. Our dollar exchange is always a factor. This is what I have and need. Do you know of any parts?
Ken Greg: The upper mounting brackets can be used on either side, they are reversible. The lower ones are tapered to fit the station and are left or right.

Re: Original set of 1926-7 wind wings for sale
Guys, I had a set on a roadster 10 years ago, it it took years to find all the parts. That’s part of my old car fun, the search. After you changed course, Ken, I sold this set. Makes sense with this forum to trade parts to complete your sets. You might reach out to Jack Putnam , in Bluffton, Ohio. Great model T guy, and he reproduced these at one time. They were very nice lost wax castings, and he may have some bits and pieces remaining, and well worth contacting him. Good luck, the search is half the fun! For me, it’s most the fun!

Re: SOLD. Original set of 1926-7 wind wings for sale
I am thinking I may have a complete original set of these with original or new engraved glass. I think I purchased them from Fred Huston years ago. I will check next time I am at my shop. I know they were nicely boxed and separated with old newspaper to protect the glass and finish. More later. Happy New Year!

Once I verify that I have a set I will price and post them for sale on this site since I do not have the correct Ts to use them on. Mike
