Jonah,
I think the hub is different for 27. I’m not to sure as if a earlier fan can be used and if other things would have to be changed out in order to make it work. Perhaps someone else can chime in on this.

Jonah,
We-ell----, it would be possible to make one of these work on a 1927, but a lot of trouble for something so wrong and costing more than the right thing would.
There are a couple variations to the 1926/'27 fan assemblies. One of which is a longer reach shaft and hub that does not work well with most available radiators. You should check with your advisors to determine what you have and what you need, either nearby you, or pictures on the general forum. If you do have the late long hub fan, you would be better off to replace it with the more common shorter reach fan hub. (The fan itself is the same.) I suspect you should be able to get the fan hub and maybe even mounting neck fairly cheap.
If I recall correctly, I may still have one of the long fan hubs. Nobody wants them.

Longed fan hubs are for the 3 row radiator cores. No body wants either one of these. Dan
