WTB: 2 Cylinder Ford

Post by KiwiFordGuy » Thu Jan 14, 2021 3:47 am

Hi all,

A long time since I have posted anything on this forum. So long in fact I had to create a new user name!!!! Glad it’s still going as strong as ever.

I am looking for a 2 Cylinder Ford ie A, AC, C or F if anyone knows of anything? I’d love a restored early Ford but the budget just isn’t that big... so a pretty complete and original project over time seems a good way to achieve the dream.

Thanks Alex Brown ex Kiwi now in Melbourne for those who remember the name 😀 and yes transport is easy so no concerns how far away you are.

Alex, I restored from scratch a 1911 Touring and cost me much more than buying an old correct 1911 as well... If I have to restart the process, I will buy a restored 1911 and put money on the side instead and buying the right car when I have the all fund$ to offer me the car I want. Just saying. Tha's my humble opinion.
Super Mario Bross ;)

Don’t disagree at all Mario. That’s why I say a going T.

However as I have a lot of time on my side still and I do enjoy a project, the process, part finding etc etc and the now significant outlay for a restored A, AC, C & F and the fact they becoming hard to obtain I really am happy to go the project route for an opportunity to own a Pre NRS Ford. But absolutely agree re early Ts - better to buy a good solid going car.
