WTB Montgomery Ward Model T Engine power unit kit

I’m wanting to locate a Montgomery Ward power unit conversion kit for a Model T Engine.

What is shown in your picture is the undercarriage and pulley of a Theiman Harvester kit. The battery carrier and fuel tank look homemade (they never had a battery carrier) and the wheels are incorrect (about 1/2 the size of correct ones. I think I saw that power unit at Hershey a couple years ago.

Hi Brent: Theiman and Montgomery Ward are the same. Theiman made the Montgomery Ward units ... Here are four photos of a correct and complete unit. It is complete except for the hood. There is a 5th photo of a unit with the correct hood. The hood was made in two pieces, so everything would fit in a smaller box for shipping of the power unit kit. Sad thing is that most of the original hoods were thrown away by someone thinking they were homemade farmer built ... Wish you luck in finding one, I have one (sorry not for sale) and have had parts of others, so they do show up from time to time ....

Great pictures Donnie! I own 2 of these, and have seen a half dozen more, and ALL of them had the hood brackets at the coil box cut off and the brackets on the other side missing. I never saw the complete brackets, or an original hood til now.
