Ford script units

Post by ModelT46 » Wed Jan 27, 2021 1:36 pm

These units are from what was left when the brass ford scripts were made in the 1950s. The unit could be made into a stencil by using thin strips holding the peices in place. The one picture on a thin board is from the 1950s was was used a a guide when the stampings were made. It shows that the pieces could be mounted on a flat background and then framed or displayed. I can supply these loose pieces as a package at $48 postpaid. If you want more than one set, the $8 p[ostage will cover unto 4 sets. An original Ford script from 1909-11 was used as a pattern to make the dies.

The upper photo is just to show how the pieces could be mounted. It is not for sale. The lower photo is of the pieces laid out on my scanner. To make a one p[iece unit, they would need to be joiuned by soldered wireor brass strips.
