Want To Buy.... removable hand crank accessory
I’d like to purchase an accessory removable hand crank. Any condition, even incomplete. Several types of these accessories have been made in the day. There was a NOS one on eBay about a year back, if anyone knows it’s whereabouts, be glad to buy, or look at what else you might have or know about. Thanks! Tmorsher@icloud.com to reach me

I cannot find pictures. From my memory, a tube installs in place of the crank. A cap is on the outside and is removed to engage the new crank gizmo.

Thanks for nothing so far, guys! I do love that bone saw, Jim. Wonder how many broken arms from cranking it has been used on.

Re: Want To Buy.... removable hand crank accessory
If I had an idea what your looking for I might be able to find it. I searched the Internet (driver pull starters, one add on electrical starter and many anti -kickback) The pin makes the crank removable. If there is another option - it would be a bit complex. So do you have a picture of what your looking for or can you describe it in more detail.

Re: Want To Buy.... removable hand crank accessory
It was new in the box about a year ago on eBay. It was a buy it now price , and I hesitated too long. I spent a couple hours last night looking for a pic with no luck. I was hoping someone here bought it and would be willing to part with it. I’ve got an email into Jay already. Thanks!

Re: Want To Buy.... removable hand crank accessory
Tim, I also have a very extensive collection of accessories as well as many accessory catalogs. This is also a new one for me.
This is information I could have used a few weeks ago. On my speedster project I have a lowered front axle using Laurel brackets. The original straight front axle would hit the hand crank with just the slightest bump in the road. I had tried to figure out a good removable hand crank, but never really thought of a good design. So I ended up spending a couple days changing the straight axle for a 'dip" style axle. That removable crank "gizmo" would have worked. I really like my "dip"style axle, but I could have made the "gizmo" in a lot less time Oh well, the old saying is " a day late or a dollar short" ,, story of my life...
