Wanted: Four Original Knurled Nuts For ignition Wires
I would like to find four original knurled nuts that hold the ignition wires to the spark plugs on my '13 Touring.
I have reproductions so do not need repros.
Thanks,
Gene

Re: Wanted: Four Original Knurled Nuts For ignition Wires
I have seen so many different patterns of knurled spark plug nuts with an xxxx pattern I'm not sure what original is but an old ad looks like MAc'S.
So is what is correct? By the way many old ads show the nut that way.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Gene, Some spark plugs have Metric threads & some are SAE. It depends on your spark plugs. George

I’ve attached a few photos of the knurled nuts that are on my car.
I believe that the ChampionX plugs I have are newer.

I think the slot was so you could use the Rajah type terminals that clipped on.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Re: Wanted: Four Original Knurled Nuts For ignition Wires
If they're "newer" current Champion X, they might be metric thread - I don't believe anyone produces an "original" copy for those - I have some current repro X's & will check the thread size. If they're original or an older reproduction then these will fit - 8-32 is the original thread - I have a limited quantity.
