Based on the limited information posted by Dave, I believe this may be what happened. As many of you remember, dad decided to sell the business last year. Remaining inventory was offered at a liquidation discount. Some items were sold out faster than others and were not going to be replaced. In April I purchased the remaining inventory and began producing more parts to replace the depleted stock. Dave placed an order and requested the liquidation discount price for items which had been replaced as a result of the liquidation sale. Dave was told the business was under new ownership and the discounts had been suspended. There is no record Dave paid for discounted parts he did not receive. If I had his phone number, i would give him a call to discuss. As such, he is welcome to call me to discuss his concern.

Sorry this had to be posted on the forum; however, I wanted to try and set the record straight. The forum is a small family and we should threat one another in that fashion. I look forward to serving my family to the best of my ability.

The Chaffins are honorable folks. I bought a 12 tooth pinion from Chaffin senior about the time of the family sale and transfere at discount and it was shipped before my payment was sent! Glen called me and said that he trusted me as a buyer, so no problem with payment.
