Re: Jess Boner rocky mountain style brakes
Does the rod connect to brake pedal or emergency handle? I have the same brakes but never installed them on my 14 . Never heard of this system. Thank you in advance reply. Tim

Franko they connect to the brake pedal the brake pedal for those brakes has an ext. off the bottom to connect them.
Do it right or do it over, your choice. Drive like everyone is out to get you!

That’s what I thought, but the rod isn’t long enough to reach. I’ll have to check again. Some part may be missing.

Re: Jess Boner rocky mountain style brakes
Looking at the photo, the short rod has the boot that wraps around the brake pedal shank, which would have been connected above the shaft not under. The pre 1926 AC small drum cable brakes hooked up the same way.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

I’ll take the small drum set. Where are you in Southern Vermont? I’m in Stockbridge, Ma so could arrange to pick up.

Whoever buys the small set should stop by my trailer at Luray. I have a part set that will be cheap. Dan
