I think these may be the type you are looking for. If so it is yours.

Looks to me like Chris just posted a picture of two u-bolts of the type that you are looking for.

Might not be new like you're hoping for, but you might also gracefully say "no thank you" rather than publicly ridicule the offer of free parts of the vintage and style that you profess to need.

As an aside, you must realize that there are a number of non-stock things going on in your own photo. Must be careful with rocks when living in a glass house.

Best of luck in your quest.

Scott,
I thought the reply was not someone being serious, I did not imply my car is stock, nothing in my post would constitute rocks and glass houses.
I will look elsewhere for parts in future unless it's a part listed for sale by somebody

You really need to give Chris a call if you have not already.

As for looking for parts that you need, there is no better venue than this and is certainly easier and cheaper than trekking many miles to a swap meet and still go home empty-handed. Don't give up.

I haven't a clue why you wouldn't think it was a serious offer. Otherwise why would I bother to take a picture to show it to you? I missed whatever remark you made. You don't need to worry. I won't ever bother you with an offer of a free part again.

Chris, i wouldnt be too offended. I believe this guy was ignorant to what he was seeing in your pix. Clearly those outer, added u bolts were what he was needing.

Chris,
I looked at the reply first on my phone and could only see it as a Y type with clutter to the sides, thought somebody was making a joke or saying I needed a different type. My intent was not to insult but was an attempt at a joke comeback (I deleted), I'm sorry if you and others (one) were offended, as I said, not the intent. Also as I said above I will no longer ask if anyone has a part for sale on this forum and will only respond to a classified listing.
