Several years ago, a good friend, Ken Whitaker, built a red speedster in Louisville, KY, and drove on tour for many years. It had a home built body with a unique passenger door. Another interesting feature were dual Holley NH carbs. It had a Ruckstell and old style Warford. When Ken passed, his widow sold it to Les Bryant of Smithfield, KY., maybe 6 to 10 years ago. Les did some modifications which included solid engine side panels with two holes that lined up with the intakes of the dual carbs. Les than sold it a few years ago and has he has passed within the past 2 or 3 years.
If anyone might know of the whereabouts of that speeder,I sure would like to know who now may own it and maybe a contact. I know it was list here on the classifieds and maybe one of the T magazine classifieds.
Thanks for any info!

Here's one in Smithfield http://davidsclassiccars.com/ford/19559 ... del-t.html
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
