That particular long handle shifter was used on TT's. Originals were steel or cast iron - not brass that I recall.

Here is a comparison photo showing an original Passenger car Ruckstell shift lever and the brass shift lever that I'm selling. As you can see the brass one is actually shorter not longer as Steve stated earlier.
