Would be coupe only. The roadster used the same fender as the touring.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

They are stamped coupe and roadster but I think you are right. So let us say 1924-25 Coupe.

There is documentation here in the Encyclopedia & other documentation supporting the fact that the Runabout did utilize the full skirt rear fender same as the Coupe in 1925 - I had a late production '25 Runabout with the full skirt rear fenders.

Don Skille has an early '25 roadster with the coupe fenders. They appear to have always have been on the car.

Larry- question- So if someone had them on a coupe, would you say that the coupe had roadster fenders on it?

Here's two not great data points, but food for thought. This Ford advertisement artist's rendition and these photographed runabouts appear to have the 8850B/8851B rear fenders.

your eyes are better than mine. I can come to no such conclusion viewing the photo. As for the illustration, that's what it is. FORD published lots of illustrations of cars which never existed (and I can't come to any conclusion on the illustration, regardless).
I am in the process of repairing and fitting rear fenders on a '23 Runabout and I expect that when done, a photo taken from the same distance and angle will produce a very similar unhelpful (at least for me) photo.
That said, I am pretty sure that any combination of parts which will fit, were used occasionally in the factory as the need arose. I would even support the likelihood that some cars came off the line with completely mismatched fenders on some rare occasions and I believe that it's been documented on the forum or at least the belief has been posited and an argument was made to support that view.
As far as the OPs reproduction fenders both being marked for the roadster, well, I believe that is simply an error on the person's part who wrote the information down and that is very common in the world of reproductions...it might even represent the official view of the reproducer...but from an accepted and documented history of FORD parts and known parts catalogues, they were wrong.

Re: NORS 1924-25 Rdst-Coupe Fender.
Scott, my understanding of the T-8850 and T8851 fenders is that they didn't have the lateral bump out at the rear of the running board. This bump out is seen on at least the front three cars.

indeed it is visible. I was not looking for the bumpout, but the solid skirt or not. My apologies...my understanding of your post was wrong, and I was in error in my response to you.
