If anyone has a horn for a 1915 Touring I am interested. The car was converted to 12 v so electric is fine as well as long as it's 12v.

Ron,if it wasn't a carryover brass bulb horn, it should be a magneto horn, which is independent of any battery system.

April of 1915 would have probably had a bulb horn.
Any original model T electric horn is either going to be a magneto horn (only works on AC power!), or they will be a DC six volt horn. There is no such thing as a twelve volt correct model T horn.
You could likely use a voltage dropping high current resister to make the twelve volt battery drop down enough (it isn't all that critical). I don't offhand know the proper value resister that would work best.
A more or less proper 1919 or later six volt T horn MIGHT work okay on a twelve volt battery? I have never tried one. I know the six volt electric Klaxon I had on a car never worked right on twelve volt. Although it did 'sorta' worked?

There were only a handful of early cars with 12 volt systems, Dodge would be one. The work around, would be to install a resistor to drop the voltage, or if motor type, motor could be rewound. Generally, early 12 volt horns command a higher price, as they are fewer in number.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

From what I understand a horns were optional, if in 1914 you ordered a horn it was a bulb horn mounted outside the hood, in early 1915 if you ordered a horn it was a bulb horn mounted inside the hood. Later in 1915 the option changed to a magneto horn but it was still optional. If a horn was not opted for anything goes, Klaxon, bulb, electric or magneto. I have both a bulb and magneto just because I had them, I also have a Klaxon but three is too many.

I have a magneto horn I bought refurbished in 2019 from a vendor at Hershey for my 1915 that I am not going to use. During my engine rebuild, I put a starter hogs head on and opted for the single stack magneto coils, not thinking about running using the mag horn. PM me if you are interested, I can send you some pictures. I have a new steering column horn button, as well.
