FOUND!! - WANTED: 2-to-1 Underdrive Auxiliary Transmission
Editing this post to open up our search to include any underdrive unit.
We are still looking for a 2-to-1 underdrive transmission. It can have an overdrive or not, doesn't matter to us. We are open to any complete, usable brand/style. Rear axle mount would be great but not necessary. This is for a car, not a TT truck.
Original post:
Anyone happen to have a Moore auxiliary underdrive transmission for a car they’d part with? Hoping to find someone with a complete unit for sale.
We did just pick up a Moore for a TT truck and believe the shifter would switch over if needed. Maybe some other parts too? We haven’t torn into it yet to see what all we have with it. So we are possibly open to parts but a complete unit would be great.
The low gear ratios would put our T at exactly the crawling slow speeds we’d like to travel!
We can travel about 90 minutes from zip code 26374 (north central WV) to pick one up or would pay shipping.
Thank you!

Still looking.
I will add, we are open to other transmission brands if they could offer that same 2-to-1 underdrive reduction.

Ernie, the warford setup we talked about the other day has been warified by a friend that it is a two to one ratio. I just did not do it right while we were talking.
The spare one is an unassembled warford pictured is also available. Tell me which gears you want me to count the teeth on. The unabtainable tapered bearing is there and in good working order. Frank

I put the gears into the case and it is the same rotation of two to one as the other warford.

Nice looking gears, but you will still need the piece that goes between the back of the T and Warford.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Frank has a complete warford along with this one. We plan to go with this, just need to figure out shipping.
