For Sale: Combination machine half-nut. This is the nut that engages the driving shaft when boring or reaming on the machine. It was made of brass and very fine threaded. It was probably design to shear if the rotation was blocked or stalled. It also will wear out. The thread is 3/4 x 36 tpi, which is not a deep thread. I had to replace one on my machine and I had some extra cast in silicone bronze.
