Mr. Gates,

see this link below on Ebay - not exactly what you are asking for, but maybe???

https://www.ebay.com/itm/353732730853?h ... ondition=4

Bidding ends today at 6:35pm EST and it currently has one bid of $20. If interested, don't bid until the last seconds of the auction if you want the best chance at it - my opinion... Not connected to the listing whatsoever...

William, You are looking for the wrong wrench. The 5-z-161 is a body bracket t handle wrench. You are looking for a part number 2891, factory number 2839 wire wheel wrench. I f I remember correctly it will have 2839 on the wrench. If you look in the '26 parts listing you will find it listed with the wire wheels, not the tools. There is no photo in the catalog of this wrench.

This is the correct one. Been looking for years. Found at Luray.

These were originally nickel plated. At least the couple examples I’ve had were. Kind of fuzzy, but I remember it being a dual use wrench.

In Bruce's book, towards the end of the tool listings, page 599, the 5Z161 has a note to use with wire wheel lugs.
I have a T wrench marked; Ford T-2839, black coating, except where I cleaned if off to read the number.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Mark, Ford may have at one time told owners to use the 5-z-161 wrench. The '26 parts catalog clearly lists the T-2839 as the wire wheel lug nut wrench. I have one as well, with no sign of any plating.

Difficult to read part number because it is stamped around the wrench.
