SOLD FS: Truefire ignition
I bought this and was told it was bought new and installed but never would spark and was never sent back in for repairs, I just put a new fuse in it and tried it out on the bench and it seems to work fine, Spark is erratic because I'm just turning it by hand. Notice the fancy mock up work.
I have a 1amp fuse in there now, know idea what the correct size fuse should be, I've read it should be a 4 amp fast blow fuse which is what was in there when I received it.

I've been very happy with my Truefire unit. If I didn't already have a spare, I would snap this one up.

I looked in my documentation and saw reference to a 4 amp, 250 volt fuse. No mention of fast blow.

The original fuse in all the TrueFires I have tested or changed has been 4 Amps.

All the TrueFires I have tested for the current draw is right at or about 1.2 Amps.

The Truefire will continue with a steady string of sparks, if the ignition switch is left on, either by accident or on purpose, and the timer is setting in a position to making sparks.

I suspect most of the time that is what heats up the printed board and blows the fuse.
