New Item
T-2503E, rear axle housing bolt and nut. Made from the print, but not from low carbon cold rolled. 4140 high strength steel that won't stretch and allow leaks at the seam. Originally used 1913-1919 but the crowned shank can be ground off which makes them correct for 1920-27 as well. Due to this steel's limited availability and skyrocketing prices they are kinda spendy at $44 per set but their quality is outstanding in both correct appearance and material.

Re: New Item
Yes, John; the nut is made from the same high quality steel. It looks grainy in the photo because of a bit of machine oil on it.

R.V.
I believe that I was once told that you reproduce the correct fasteners to mount the dealer installed bumper brackets to the frame on '26-'27 Improved Models. Namely, my Touring Car.
If I am correct, please shoot me an email at:
modeltspaz AT yahoo DOT COM. Remove the spaces and the obvious typos.
Thank you.

Re: New Item
Hi R.V., does your price include shipping to the lower 48? I'd like to get a set for my '24. Thanks

Re: New Item
Nicely done R.V. I presume they take a 1/2" wrench. I have a well worn Bluepoint open end wrench I find is the only one I have that is a comfortable fit on those bolts and nuts on our Canadian sourced cars. A standard issue 1/2" wrench is a tight fit on most of these bolts. Have you had the same experience?

Daniel: I didn't include shipping cost info because I wasn't sure if they could go in a small padded envelope or if they required a small FR box. But they can go in the envelope for $5. Your set is on the way.
Allan: Yes; they take a 1/2" wrench, both nut and bolt. Most of these bolts and their nuts I have dealt with have been at least a little rounded over on the corners, so by the time I get that cleaned up on a belt sander the AF distance has been slightly reduced and a 1/2" wrench is a good fit.
