Wanted Kwik-Poly even partial cans

Post by dobro1956 » Fri Jan 14, 2022 7:47 pm

Does anyone have any kwik-poly. ? I need about 1/4 or a little less, of the original amount in the kit. As long as both parts are still liquid, it will still work for what I need it for.

Smiths Penetrating Epoxy will do the same thing.

I have a couple extra cans if you haven’t found any.
The cans are probably about 3/4 full and have been stored in a paint cabinet. They are sill liquid and should be fine. If you need them, message me your address and I can send them out in the morning.

Thanks Mark! Lots of good epoxy's there... I'd choose either the Smiths or the "Total Boat" Penetrating Epoxy. They both seem
similar. For me, the important part is having it thin, then expanding. Kwik Poly was great for that, once when I temporarily used it to tighten spokes until replacement, I was shocked to see how it even flowed down from the tenens in the felloe down INSIDE the spoke and then came out of an almost indistinguishable fine crack in the spoke to seal it too! Figured that may have saved the spoke from completely busting before I could send it to Stutzmans.
