Full Flow Float Valves and Taps - Get them while they're available
Want to know why you struggle up long hills or starve for fuel (run hot or suffer "vapor lock") at higher speeds?
You have the wrong float valve...don't feel bad, as they are all made wrong with a too-small hole except for this one shown on the right: This float valve will solve those problems; the lead washer will SEAL, and the special brand new American Made taps will clean out the threads of your carb during the rebuild, allowing proper installation of parts In Stock:
Float valve is $28
Taps sold as a pair, and not sold without a valve purchase. They are $22 for the pair.
shipping is $9
Email only, no PM's
Sorry, cannot sell to California
Thank you

These float valves are the Bees Knees.
If you don’t have one get one.

Scott, what are the sizes of the pairs of taps you have for sale?
Do you still have the valve seat insertion/removal tool for sale? I have one of yours and we used it this weekend helping a Club member. They may want to buy one.
Thanks

"Do you still have the valve seat insertion/removal tool for sale?"
I used mine recently when rebuilding the carb on my tractor. That valve seat would have been a bugger to get out with any other tool.

James
yes, I have them in stock. They are now $45 each, as metal costs, shipped here, have gone through the roof. Shipping is $9.

I used to run out of these valves pretty quickly, but this last time, I made a ton of them and have plenty in stock.

so Scott, why no sales to Califunny? In spite of what our governor wants, we still drive petroleum fueled cars here, although at $4+ a gallon, we don't drive them very far!
T'ake care,
David Dewey

bump to the top
if you enjoy stalling out on long hard hills or being last to the lunch stop, do not buy these.

Bump again
valves laugh at hills, and these make fuel pumps and 5/16 fuel line obsolete

Re: Full Flow Float Valves and Taps - Get ready for tour season
I make these valves; there are no dealers or middle men, and if sales slow too much in this economy, I will shift gears and they will disappear. If they continue to sell, there will be more. With the cost of brass skyrocketing, they cannot remain at this price for too long.
Presently, I have valves, installation tools, and American Made taps in stock, though stock on valves and tools is running thin. Taps are available while they last, but at $22 for the pair, USA High Speed Steel, they're only sold with a valve or if you've already bought a valve.
