WTB Kingston B-1 Gasifier carb

Post by Steve Hughes » Tue Jan 25, 2022 5:05 pm

As the subject line says, I an in the market for a Kingston B-1 Gasifier carburetor. I would like to find a complete unit in decent condition. Doesn't need to be rebuilt, but should be all there so that I can rebuild it. Needs to be the B-1 and not the model B Regenerator.

Steve; I have a good B 1 Gasifier - original w/rust if you don’t find one before Chickasha. Not cracked. it’s in New Braunfels and I’ll pick it up after church tomorrow for pictures. Also, real nice threads on the exhaust manifold.
I don’t know why I turned out this way. My parents were decent people.

Thanks George. Glad to hear you are going to Chickasha. I definitely don't need it before then. Engine and transmission are not even built up yet. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Here you go, Jerry. There should be a label plate on it that says "B-1 Gasifier". Kingston had an earlier version that was the model B Regenerator. It is the B-1 that I am looking for. If you find that you have one if you can please text me some pictures at 4 O 2 = four five zero - 2524. Thanks

Looks promising, but I just won't know until I can dig it out. Also... I have to remember where to dig...

I'll probably have a chance to look this weekend.
