No Dan, I can't make it this year. I think I know of a friend who's going though. Do you have an assigned vendor space he could go to?

False alarm. When and looked to be sure. Mine is just the plain tail light bracket. Not the Stop light bracket.

Jerry

Those 26-27 Stop +Tail license brackets are rare as hen's teeth.

So I fab'd one using the repop Synders 28-29 drum license bracket, cut the sides away, and drilled hole and cut straight sides to make that 'oblong' hole for the lamp socket and to clear the rear lamp bump. The sides of the 28-29 Model A bracket are narrow, but just enough 'meat' to drill holes for the nuts to secure the lamp's studs. Works, looks 'almost' authentic ;)

So this is a 26/27 tail light bracket. I see from the picture that the one you are looking for is a bit different than mine. I didn't know they made two kinds. This is not what you are looking for is it?

No. He's looking for the bracket for the accessory stop/running light. There is no lip to mount the can & the back is larger.

Thanks Larry. That looks close, but not quite "it". I think I'm going to just modify one that I've got, as others have suggested.

The Ford accessory stoplight and license bracket is not the same as either one of the two Dodge styles that were made. Study the picture that Jerry posted and then, compare it against either one of the two Dodge brackets or a 28-29 A drum taillight bracket. Close, but no cigar. To the untrained eye, one can be fooled easily; be careful. The correct Ford bracket will have an oval shaped hole in the bracket where the back of the light socket/wiring plug extends through the bracket. The oval shaped hole will be wider at the top of the oval, than at the bottom, if I remember correctly. A lot of other "look alike" tail light brackets will have only a round hole for the socket to extend through. The good thing is that if authenticity is not your bag, either one of the two Dodges can be made to work easier than modifying a reproduction Model A Duolamp bracket. The stoplight itself bolts right to the Dodge or Ford bracket, but to bolt the Dodge bracket to a 26-27 T tail light stanchion, the holes in the bracket must be modified to match those in the stanchion. How do I know so much, I've done a few. I, even, tried to modify a Duolamp bracket like Dan Treace did; never again. Dan how did you find the metal that the reproduction Duolamp bracket was made from ? I ruined, broke and dulled, drill bits and used up so many grinding discs for my Dremel tool that I had to go to Lowe's to buy more. I swear, that was the toughest metal I've ever found on a pressed steel reproduction part. By the way, the Ford and Dodge stop lights were made by the C. M. Hall Mfg. Co. Huppmobile and a few other more expensive makes used there own version.

Very close; even closer than a Model A Duolamp bracket, but certainly can be told from the real thing, even if you get the one painted black.

Jerry, If you are looking for "the real thing", be very cautious about buying, without a hands on inspection. Insist on photograph of actual part that you are paying for and will receive. Words of caution.
