I think there was a body style change in 1923. Is your project the earlier, i,e, ‘17-‘22 style or the later ‘24-‘25 high cowl type?
Thanks, Ralph

Looks like it has the 3 piece back. The earlier style was a 5 piece back. Also the earlier style has the rear top bow support over the top of the body. The later style came through the body as this one. It doesn’t have the later straight door hinge so it’s not a 25. My opinion it’s a late 23 or 24. It looks like to me its a high cowl car and if it is it would be a 24. But that’s without actually measuring the height of the firewall opening.

Its a low cowl. My ‘23 touring had top bow saddle brackets extending thru rear quarter panels like this picture.
I don’t know why I turned out this way. My parents were decent people 🤪

I was asked yesterday to measure the cowl height. I will do that Monday, Nov 28 and respond

you'll find it's a low cowl...

high vs low are very very different in the number of holes punched in the front, the location of those holes, and the shape of the front apron. Additionally, the high cowl is 28" across where the firewall attaches and the low cowl is 24 3/8" across.

Once you know the differences it is all but impossible to mix them up...and in the end, no ruler is needed.

I added two photos with a rule and one without. I believe the cowl height question was resolved by a couple of posters.
Anyone interested? The body will be up until next Monday. Then it becomes hot rod fodder
