Do you need the burners which fit all brands or the stands?

I have noticed that Ford side and tail lights are often offered with the burners missing. Are the sellers keeping the burners?

There was someone in the classifieds a week or so ago selling a couple of burners that were missing their thumbwheels. If you have a mini lathe, you could make replacement wheels for them. :)
