Ron has rebuilt several coils for my Model T's and many more for drivers and friends of mine during the past 22 years. All coils he rebuilt for me have been in service for at least 10 years.

I visited Ron at his shop in Petosky, MI during a vacation in September 2022. I have never seen such a clean and impressive shop. Many years ago, Ron provided me rebuilt generators. The bottom line, he is a master electrician and understands the entire electrical system of the Model T Ford. He has provided valuable resources to the MTCA museum, and through the Vintage Ford magazine has shared much of his knowledge and expertise.

DO YOU ERBUILD COPPER TOP AND HOW MUCH

Contrary to popular belief there is no such thing as a "Copper" top metal top Model T Ford ignition coil.
Metal top Ford ignition coil were stamped using "Brass" of different metallurgical composition. One looks like Brass and the other looks like Copper and are commonly called Red Brass and Yellow Brass.
Attached is a photo of three NOS (never installed in a coilbox) Red Brass metal top coils found in an old Ford dealership parts department in Vermont in the 1940's.
