Perhaps it would be useful to responders if they knew exactly how badly you needed an axle and exactly how far you'd drive to get one if they are not in your immediate vicinity.
That will weed out a lot of excess helpfulness.
It is a rare axle which cannot be repaired, so if you have an axle in hand, you might be better off trying that. I am pretty sure there at least a few knowledgeable fellows somewhat near you who would be willing to help with the repair. You might try asking for help in the general Forum.

UP or Northern Wisconsin seems pretty specific to me Scott? I see no purpose in boring readers with a detailed description of my welded axle. As my original post indicates…..I am looking for a nice later style front axle.

Putting things in perspective since you are not from this part of the country ... UP abbreviation for Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Mike has Trout River MI as his location in the Forum. Thought I see how remote that is. Circle is about 3 hours away. Not many major roads either

You nailed it Frank. Thats a good driving radius. Isle Royal is gonna be tough though

. The reality of it is, inside that circle are several hundred T front axles in fields, barns, scrap piles and garges.

I knew there was a lot of T guys in around Marquette. There may still be some. Most not on internet. Dan
